Hererra's work explores our psychological relationship to narrative through collages, photographs, sculptures, and site specific murals. The artist employs formal editing devices that abruptly recombine the figurative and spatial elements of cartoon and animated imagery to produce enigmatic associations of a profound and playful sort.
